As a Nigerian, there are things you must not do if you don’t have a car or a business of your own. Our society is so messed up that normal way of living, is considered as show off or pride.
Most of what we attribute to luxury lifestyles here in Nigeria, are normal way of life in civilized countries. This is us being bush people and unenlightened.
Don’t even try it. Unless you have a car and a business of your own, do not tattoo your skin.
I know it’s fashion and normal way of life in civilized countries, but not here in Nigeria, insane society.
Even if you are an entertainer, don’t tattoo your body until you u blow i.e. becomes rich and famous.
2. Piercing Of Ear/Nose
Specifically for the men. Do not pierce your ear for whatever reason if you don’t have a car or business of your own. I once pierced my ear, while I into music. I know the critics I faced. Women with tongue and nose rings are considered as prostitutes here in Nigeria. Pathetic.
3. Wearing Of Leg Chains
For the ladies. It is insane to wear leg chains and be trekking instead of driving. You are not a dog, bingo, chiwawa nkita. Leg chains is meant for car owners. That’s the fun and beauty of it. Not trekking around the streets like an old retired prostitute.
Women with leg chains are considered as prostitutes here in Nigeria.
4. Sagging Of Trouser
Don’t do this. This is not about what people will say. A reasonable person ain’t supposed to sag, when you’re not mad. Even mad people don’t sag. Dress properly. Person wey get swag and doings get..not by sagging.
5. Tinting Of Hair
Personally, I love tinted haircut. But crazy society like ours will crucify you for that. Therefore, if you don’t have a car and personal business, don’t tint your hair. I’m referring to the men actually. As for the women, you can.
5. Don’t Drink Bottle Water
This sound stupid right? But this is how insane the society we are living in today, is. Ordinary N50, N100 bottle water, they’ll tag you rich and proud.
Yesterday night, I told you guys how some people think I’m rich because I always drink bottle water instead of sachet water (pure water). That’s crazy assumptions.
By right, it’s wrong to seal drinkable water in nylon, not healthy at all. This country need a total upgrade and rehabilitation, we are all mad!
I drop pen here for now.
